The TB6000 Pro charges 6V and 12V lead-acid batteries plus 12V lithium — and doubles as a proper battery tester. Using the Kelvin four-point method, it reads state of charge, state of health and cold-cranking amps, so you know whether a battery is worth keeping before you spend hours charging it.

What batteries does it charge?
6V and 12V lead-acid batteries — including WET, GEL, MF, EFB, AGM and CAL types — plus 12V lithium, with a dedicated lithium charging mode. It handles capacities from 5Ah up to 240Ah.
Is it a charger or a tester?
Both. It charges through the patented 9-step cycle and also tests the battery's state of charge, state of health and CCA using the Kelvin method — so you can diagnose a battery and charge it with the one tool.
Do I need the app to use it?
No — it charges on its own. The free TOPDON BatteryLab app (iOS and Android) is optional and adds live monitoring, before/after reports, scheduled charging and expert-mode adjustments over Bluetooth.
Can I leave it connected long term?
Yes. After charging it switches to a maintenance float charge, making it ideal for keeping a classic, seasonal or weekend vehicle ready without overcharging. Built-in protections guard against reverse polarity, short circuits, over-voltage and overheating.
Can it recover a flat or sulfated battery?
In many cases, yes. The desulfation stage uses pulse-width modulation to break down sulfate build-up and restore internal resistance on ageing lead-acid batteries. The pre- and post-charge report shows how much the battery has improved.
